welcome

I am a Canadian therapist and artist born in Ottawa, Ontario, now living in the mountains of Canmore, Alberta. A creative since childhood and active member of the local arts community for over a decade, my work has evolved from experiences of healing the inner child—welcoming new experiences of safe connection, self-reliance, trust, acceptance, regulation, and growth.

Art is a means for connection to the inner as well as the outer world and so this form of expression is foundational to my capacity for supporting others. In this space, I feel, and am, honoured to be given the opportunity to witness individual processing, healing, and evolution.

Why “Refuge”?

Pronounced ‘ref + yooj’, a gentle and soothing sound, Refuge Artwork is my sanctuary—a place where selected mediums and intuitive processes offer protection, comfort, grounding, and stability amid life’s challenges.

Each piece is infused with intention and meaning, a mirror for my lived experiences. Essentially, I have found comfort, empowerment, and a regulating resource via creative freedom.

My hope is that my work encourages authenticity and safe connection, inspiring others to believe that they can embrace who they truly want to be.

Psychotherapy

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, offering trauma-informed care with an integrative approach to therapy.

You deserve to feel seen and supported while guided toward self-understanding with compassion. In our work together, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your relationships, heal limiting beliefs, and build resilience.
